OUR LOVE STORY!
Once upon a Boxing Day, we met for the first time at a crystal shop in Bondi. With the high electrical charge in the air, we then bonded over some food, and a romantic stroll on the beach, and of course some more food. The familiarity was undeniable, like instant soul recognition – a remembrance even. 6 hours went by in a flash, the strange synchronicities started adding up, and the rest was history.
Since then, we have moved mountains together, climbed literal mountains, and even frequently encounter strangely mirrored experiences. If Colin would cop a parking ticket, Stamatina would too just a few days later. Or if Stamatina cut the left side of her lip, this would happen to Colin soon after too, and without trying. Not only did we realise that our past histories, interests, and perspectives were so similar, but we were noticing in real time that our current experiences were almost identical too – as if looking and speaking into a mirror, or experiencing the same story in two different bodies. Truly, #twinning.
Over time, we couldn’t help but refer to Plato’s idea of the soul’s origin (of course we had to quote Greek philosophy didn’t we?!). Plato suggested that humans were formerly spherical beings made up of two similar halves. Every human had four limbs, four legs, and two faces that faced each other, made up of male (descending from the sun), female (descending from the earth), and androgynous (descending from the moon). They were so powerful that the gods felt threatened, so Zeus split them in half to weaken them. And ever since, each soul has been searching for its other half to feel complete again.
And with this knowledge, everything finally *clicked*. To us, nothing made sense before meeting. The traumas, the trials, the tribulations were all too much, and all almost identical to each other’s. But since meeting, we now understand the grand purpose of our histories. Everything was by design, for the purpose of soul healing, growth, and awakening each other to the soul’s original, unified state.

Now, surrounded by those nearest and dearest, we're ready to begin the greatest adventure of all—marriage. Join us as we celebrate the divine union of Colin and Stamatina; two stars becoming one constellation!

ORDER OF
To commemorate our souls’ reunion, we have decided to honour
each part of our shared, greatest loves of:
